Numbers and reporting

The number to look at is the share price. The farm vault started at $1.00 a share, so how far it has moved from $1.00 is what the vault has done since it started. Money going in and out does not distort it, because it is a price per share rather than a ratio of totals.

What you can see

The farm vault page shows total value, share price, profit and loss, the return since the vault started, the cap, cumulative traded volume, and a running total of open interest.

The volume figure is the exchange's own, not something we calculated.

Everything updates live.

Reading a track record

When you look at a trading record:

  • A strong test result is a good sign, not a promise. The model that tests best may simply be the luckiest of the ones we tried. Live results are the ones that count.
  • Look at the length of the record. A bot live for three days has a number, not a track record.
  • A steady climb and a bumpy one can land in the same place.
